We were shopping at Don Quijote when I found this Takara Tomy A.R.T.S Tapitte Goo! (タピってグー). Of course, immediately I grabbed one and put it on the cart with no second thoughts. (*^o^*)
The packaging and illustrations are so cute! Also, this product is for 8 years old and above and made specially for kids and teens but that doesn’t mean that adults can’t use it.
The Items Inside the Box of Tapitte Goo! (タピってグー)
In the box, there are the container, straw, guide, silicon molds, and a small cup and they are all in pink. These things are needed to be washed before using.
How to Make Tapitte Goo! (タピってグー) Tapioca
The shortened instructions on how to make the Tappitte Goo! (タピってグー) Tapioca is also illustrated on the box and it looks very easy.
The ingredients needed are brown sugar, hot water (90 degree celsius at least), and gelatin powder. There also other tools to be used that are not included in the box. Those are the scale, measuring cup, and spoon for mixing.
First, add sugar to hot water (10 grams of brown sugar is to be added for every 25 milliliters). When the brown sugar is already dissolved, add the gelatin powder (5 grams of gelatin powder is to be added for every 25 milliliters of water).
Transfer the mixture to the small transfer cup because this tool is the perfect tool for transferring the liquid to the silicon due to its small spout.
After that, fill all the molds and these will be put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
This tool is for pushing the tapioca out of the silicon mold to the cup.
Please watch my video on the last part to see how I did this part.
The tapioca is not very chewy as expected and slides inside my mouth which makes ut very hard to chew.
The tapioca in this Tapitte Goo (タピってグー) might be not the same with the usual tapioca but it was a good and fun experience.
These are some other ideas to try with this Tapioca maker.
