What is it? This ESPOLEUR Makeup Base from Daiso is a green color control base to lessen the appearance of any redness on the face.

How much and availability? It is available in Daiso Japan for ¥100 (tax not included).

What are the precautions?
♥ Do not use it if you have an abnormality such as a wound, swelling, or eczema.
♥ Please use it paying careful attention to your skin.
♥ Discontinue use and consult a dermatologist if abnormalities such as redness, swelling, itchiness, irritation, color loss (white spots, etc.) and darkening appear during use or in sunlight after use. If you continue to use it, the situation might worsen.
♥ Be sure to close the lid tightly after use and please keep out of reach of children.
♥ Do not store in places with extremely high or low temperatures and in direct sunlight.

Does it have a scent? It has no scent.

What is the texture? It is smooth and has a milky consistency. It does feel like a thin moisturizer.

What are the visible effects on the swatch? It made my skin glowy and a little bit lighter.

What is its effect on red? It does lessen the appearance of redness but it is still noticeable. But it will still give a little help on the foundation.

Is it easy to apply? It is easy to apply but the product is not easily absorbed by the skin especially when you apply too much.

What is the best tool to use? I would recomment fingertips.

Does it cover the redness on my face? Yes it does but minimal.

Does it help in minimizing the look of pores? I am surprised but my pores are minimized in some areas.

Is there a tone-up effect? Yes, there is! But it is so greasy.

Is it buildable? Yes, kinda. But it won’t look good.

Is there an effect on the foundation? On textured skin like mine, there were no good effects. It is not good as a primer. I think it is necessary to put on a primer first.

Was it comfortable? So far, I haven’t felt any irritations.

What are the things I like about this product? It’s cheap and it gives a tone-up effect.

What are the things that I don’t like about this product? It is not good as a primer and doesn’t cover the redness enough. It is kinda greasy.
