ARITAUM Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask | Review

With the night getting colder, our lips also become more prone to chapping. I’ve tried all the lip balms I have but still, I wake up with dry and chapped lips but good thing there is an overnight lip mask in stock to try that is from a beauty box. Let’s see if this will be the solution.

What is it? Aritaum Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask is an overnight lip mask with ginger and sugar that moisturizes your dry chapped lips to create a smooth lip.

Weight. It is 25 grams which are a lot and could last for approximately 1-3 months.

Ingredients. Click this site to see the full list of ingredients and information: http://www.cosdna.com/eng/cosmetic_202e479920.html

Availability. I don’t know any physical stores that sell it but maybe there are some resellers. It is available on online shops like Amazon.

Scent & Taste. I can’t smell the ginger but there is a subtle citrusy lemonade scent. There is also no taste of ginger but a mild citrusy taste. There is bergamot orange, lemon peel oil, and orange in the list of ingredients which probably gives that citrusy scent and taste to it.

Texture. The texture is very thick and sticky which makes it hard to apply. It is like a stick glue and you will feel it if you touch your lips together.

Comfortability. I’ve felt no irritations during use but the stickiness felt quite uncomfortable for the first few hours especially when talking.

Verdict. When I woke up, I still felt the stickiness which makes me think that it still moisturizes my lips and yes it did and maybe, this product being sticky made this hard to strip off overnight. I usually woke up with very dry lips, chapped, and flaky but after using this, everything was minimized. I will probably use this until it is gone.
